Use of Hydraulic Motor

2023-10-18

Hydraulic Motor is a mechanical actuator which will hydraulic pressure and inflow torque and angular displacement (rotation). Hydraulic Motor is the rotary counterpart of a

hydraulic cylinder and acts as a linear actuator. Most broadly, the category of equipment called Hydraulic Motor sometimes includes those that generate electricity from

hydraulic power (i.e., hydraulic engines and water motors), but in today's terms the name usually refers more specifically to motors that use hydraulic oil as part of a closed

hydraulic circuit. Modern hydraulic machinery.

Conceptually, the Hydraulic Motor should be interchangeable with a hydraulic pump because it performs the opposite function - similar to the way a DC motor is theoretically

interchangeable with a DC generator. However, many Hydraulic pumps cannot be used as Hydraulic Motor because they cannot be driven in reverse. In addition, Hydraulic Motor is usually designed for operating pressure on both sides of the motor, whereas most hydraulic pumps rely on the low pressure provided by the input-side reservoir and leak fluid when used as a motor.

Hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders can be combined into hydraulic drive systems. One or more Hydraulic pumps are connected with one or more Hydraulic Motor to form a hydraulic transmission device.

Hydraulic Motor is now used for many applications, such as winch and crane drivers, wheel motors for military vehicles, self-driving cranes, excavators, conveyor and feeder

drivers, cooling fans drivers, mixer and agitator drivers, roller grinders, drum drivers for digesters, drum screens and kilns, shredders, drilling machines, trenchers, high-power lawn trimmers and injection molding machines. Hydraulic Motor is also used in heat transfer applications.
